The Exterior
The property can be found down a quiet hamlet road, close to the beautiful town of Confolens, Charente. The barn is a traditional French stone construction with terracotta tiled roof, typical of the area.
The front of the property has two large glass doors in the centre with two full-height sets of smaller doors either side. These doors flood the front of the barn with natural light at all times of the year.
Also to the left of the barn, there is an attached workshop with open covered area, perfect for those wanting to work from home or simply to have as extra storage space. The covered area is ideal for storing logs during the winter months in preparation for cosy nights by the fire, or alternatively as a covered carport.
There is a large parking area, also to the left of the property, providing ample parking space for multiple vehicles. This is perfect for when family and friends come to stay or alternatively, for paying guests if running the barn as a bed and breakfast or chambre d'hotes.
To the right of the barn, there is a gated gravelled garden dining area, flanked by cottage wildflowers with views of the fields beyond. This space is perfect for any shade lovers and is ideal for those hot summer days.
